On the Saturday 26th May 2012 a unique fundraising event will take place. At precisely 0930hrs Four riders will Set off from Barcelona in Spain and pedal their bicycles 1300km (800 miles) to the French Alpine town of Morzine Avoriaz. They hope to acheive this arduous journey in 8 days.

They will have to cross the high mountains of the Pyrenees before traversing southern France on route to their destination that rests high in the French Alps. 

 They will be riding unsupported on PASHLEY CLUBMAN vintage style 3 speed  bicycles and will also be dressed in replica vintage cycling clothing. It will be reminicent of a scene from an old Tour De France as they travel along roads and over mountains made famous by the worlds toughest bicycle race.

The angel ride will be raising money for the LAVENDER TRUST which benefits young women who become diagnosed with Breast Cancer. The riders will be pedalling in memeory of Heidi Beer who lost her life to Breast Cancer at the age of 29. Heidi spent her last years in our destination Morzine in France, hence the route to be conquered by the Angel Riders.
